HOW TO USE YOUR HEAT/COLD PACK

Heating Instructions:

1. Preparation:

   - Place your heat pack in the microwave.

   - Ensure the microwave turntable is functioning properly to avoid uneven heating.

IMPORTANT: If the turntable does not turn, do not use the microwave as it can cause hot spots that may burn.

2. Testing Temperature:

   - After heating for 1 to 2 minutes, carefully test the heat pack to ensure it is warm enough.

   - If more heat is needed, continue heating in short increments, ensuring not to exceed the total heating time of 3 minutes.

3.  Safety Points:

- Do Not Overheat:

  - The heat bag is not designed to be extremely hot. Do not exceed the maximum microwave time of 3 minutes.

  - Always check the temperature before placing the heat pack on your skin to avoid burns.

  - Never heat the bag in the oven as it is a fire and burn hazard.

WARNING: Heat packs must be cared for to avoid fire and burn hazards. Always follow the instructions for safe use.

Using as a Cold Pack:

   1. Place the heat/cold pack in a plastic bag.

  2. Store the bag in the freezer.

How to wash your heat and cold pack:

1.     Wash on a gentle cycle in the washing machine.

2.     Dry in sunlight or place near a heater until fabric is fully dry.

3.     Once dry, heat in the microwave to remove any remaining moisture as this will help the lupins dry out and shrink back to their normal size.
